Editing Your Company Information

If you have edits to your company name, DBA, company address, or mailing address, you should make those changes in your SAM record, and then use the "View/Import from SAM" in the vendor application to import those changes into VIPR (see "Importing Company Information from SAM into VIPR").

All other non-SAM shared company information can be edited in the vendor application, such as Business Status, LSA, Supporting Documentation, Contact Name, Contact Phone Numbers, etc.

 

IMPORTANT
- Your changes will automatically be applied to any quotes you submitted for solicitations UNTIL the solicitation is awarded. However, for changes to your company name, DBA, company address, and mailing address, you MUST use the "View/Import from SAM" button to import the changes from your SAM record into VIPR BEFORE the changes can be applied to the quote. Remember that it takes SAM several business days to process changes to your SAM record before those changes will be available to import from SAM into VIPR.

- If you make changes to your company information AFTER you receive an award, those changes will be picked up when you respond to a modification or through an Administrative modification. This means modifications that do not require a vendor's response, except for Administrative mods, will no longer pick up a vendor's company contact changes. However, for changes to your company name, DBA, company address, and mailing address, you MUST use the "View/Import from SAM" button to import the changes from your SAM record BEFORE the changes can be applied through a modification.

To edit non-SAM shared company information:

  1. Access the Edit Company Information wizard by doing one of the following:
  2. In the Edit Company Info step, you may not be able to edit your Company Name and your DBA if this information was imported from SAM into VIPR. Click the Save and Continue button to continue through the wizard.
IMPORTANT
- If you have changes to your company name or DBA, you should make the changes in your SAM record and then use the "View/Import from SAM" button in the My Company page to import the information from SAM into VIPR.

- Your company name and DBA in VIPR MUST match the company name and DBA in your SAM record or you will be ineligible to receive an agreement and you will be unable to respond to a modification to an agreement.
  1. In the Edit Contact Info step, update your contact information as needed, and then click Save and Continue.

NOTE: Your Daytime Phone, Evening/After Hours Phone, and Cell/Alternate Phone numbers will be listed on the DPL.

  1. In the Edit Address step, you may not be able to edit your Company Name and your DBA if this information was imported from SAM into VIPR. Click the Save and Continue button to continue through the wizard.

- Your company address and mailing address in VIPR MUST match the company address and mailing address in your SAM record or you will be ineligible to receive an agreement and you will be unable to respond to a modification to an agreement.
  1. In the Edit Status Details step, update any of the following:
  1. Click the Save and Continue button to save your changes.
  2. From the Finished step, click the Exit button. Your company updates are saved in VIPR.

 

What's Next?
- If all of your company and resource information is complete, then you are ready to submit a quote on an open solicitation (see "Submitting a Quote on a Solicitation").
